  • Responsibilities

    Emergency Management professional will be responsible for providing consulting services in the following areas:

    • Writing NIMS consistent emergency operations plans and emergency response plans
    • Consulting across all phases of emergency management
    • Conducting hazard identification and risk assessments
    • Delivering training
    • Designing, developing and conducting exercises
    • Team member will be responsible for interfacing between ASG and the client, managing expectations, meeting deadlines to stay on schedule and budget.

    Position will require travel, leading meetings, facilitating discussions, gather information, synthesizing information and making professional judgments

    Qualifications

     Qualifications include:

    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Ability to travel overseas
    • Ability to work cross-culturally
    • Hazmat training preferred
    • Knowledgeable in NIMS, National Frameworks, FEMA doctrine
    • Trained/experienced with the 2016 Emergency Management Standard
    • Ability to stand for 8+ hours/day delivering training and conducting exercises in the field
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite
    • Plume modeling proficiency preferred
    • Skilled in efffective verbal and written communication
